A site at the heart of the Atlantic region
With the inauguration of its new Nivillac site, Eurial Lait reaches a key milestone in the development of its activities in the Brittany / Pays de la Loire region. This project strengthens our organization while improving our teams’ working conditions.
Located at the crossroads of highly productive dairy areas, Nivillac naturally stands out as a coherent and strategic choice. Situated as close as possible to our members’ farms, the site helps optimize milk collection and ensures greater responsiveness across the entire value chain.
A single site to centralize operations and optimize milk collection
The Nivillac site now brings together several of Eurial Lait’s key activities in one place: milk collection, administrative services, equipment maintenance (garage), and the Farm Refrigeration Service (FAF). The Cooperative’s Agriculture division also occupies part of the premises for its milking equipment activities, through the company Lactamat.
This consolidation brings together several locations that were previously spread across the region, enabling operations to be centralized in a single site that is both welcoming and functional.
This new organization promotes stronger coordination between teams. It improves communication and the flow of information, particularly between milk truck drivers, maintenance teams and administrative services. It directly contributes to optimizing overall performance in milk collection and flow management.
Employee contribution to the project design
Beyond logistical aspects, the Nivillac project places people at the heart of its design. From the outset, employees were fully involved in shaping the project. Working groups were set up to collectively design spaces and logistics flows, fostering strong engagement and ownership of the site by the teams. The result is a modern, safe working environment tailored to employees’ needs.
Employees now benefit from more functional facilities: adapted technical workshops, changing rooms, showers, rest areas, and a dedicated room for drivers. These improvements enhance daily working conditions and overall comfort for the teams.
A collective project serving performance and cooperation
The Nivillac site fully illustrates the strength of Eurial’s cooperative model. It is the result of close collaboration between Eurial Lait teams and Agrial’s Agriculture division, which is also present on site.
Sharing a single site fosters synergies between the two divisions, close to members, and strengthens coordination of activities at the service of the region. By bringing together teams that were previously dispersed, the project improves responsiveness to the needs of both producers and customers.
This new site is therefore a key lever to sustainably support our collection activities and contribute to the development of the dairy sector in the region. Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering high-performance solutions for our members, while ensuring quality, traceability and value creation for milk.
