New Belt Certifications Awarded at Eurial
First of all, congratulations to the employees who recently presented their projects before a certification panel, a key milestone in their Belt certification journey.
A total of 18 employees from our sites in Belley, Herbignac, Luçon, Lorris, Château-Salins, Cesson-Sévigné, Moyon, Chaunay, Jouy and Nantes successfully showcased the continuous improvement projects they have been leading over the past several months.
These presentations highlighted:
- 3 Green Belt projects
- 10 Yellow Belt projects

What Is a Belt Certification?
Belt certifications are based on the Lean Six Sigma methodology, a globally recognized approach used across industries to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
In practice, these certifications provide employees with the tools to analyze situations, identify root causes of problems, and implement sustainable solutions. The goal is straightforward: increase efficiency, improve quality, strengthen safety, and simplify day-to-day ways of working.

Yellow Belt: Solving Practical Day-to-Day Challenges
The Yellow Belt certification trains employees to lead focused continuous improvement initiatives.
By the end of the programme, participants are able to identify improvement opportunities, engage relevant teams, and implement practical solutions to enhance performance, quality, safety, and operational efficiency while simplifying processes and organization.
Two Yellow Belt pathways are available:
- Yellow Belt Manufacturing, designed for industrial production sites
- Yellow Belt Office, designed for administrative and support functions
Both pathways share the same objective: improving service efficiency and making everyday work easier for teams.
Green Belt: Managing More Structured Improvement Projects
The Green Belt certification equips employees with the methods and tools required to define, analyze and manage more complex continuous improvement projects.
Certified Green Belts develop expertise in change management, process optimization and performance improvement. They are trained to lead projects while balancing technical, organizational and human factors that contribute to operational excellence.
Black Belt: Driving Transformational Change
The Black Belt certification focuses on strategic, high-impact and complex projects.
This level requires participants to use advanced data analysis and statistical tools to support decision-making and performance improvement initiatives. Black Belts play a key role in leading transformational projects that deliver significant and sustainable business results.
