A partnership rooted in our cooperative values

Since 2020, we have been supporting the work of LADAPT, a public-interest association dedicated to the social and professional inclusion of people with disabilities. As a cooperative dairy group, we pay particular attention to solidarity-driven initiatives that strengthen local communities and promote inclusion. This partnership has grown stronger over the years, notably through the actions carried out at the International Agricultural Show.

Who is LADAPT?

LADAPT is a non-profit association (French law of 1901) whose mission is to support people with disabilities throughout their life journey.

It works towards their social and professional inclusion through a wide network of specialised structures: support schemes, training centres, and services dedicated to people with physical, neurodegenerative, cognitive disabilities or those resulting from brain injuries.

Every day, its teams work with determination to ensure genuine access to employment, independence and citizenship for all.

A renewed commitment at the International Agricultural Show

Each year, we reaffirm our commitment alongside the association on our Soignon stand at the International Agricultural Show.

The actions carried out include:

  • a solidarity quiz, enabling up to €1 per participation to be donated to LADAPT,
  • the distribution of leaflets to raise awareness of the association’s missions,
  • the presence of LADAPT representatives on the stand for half a day to engage with visitors.

These initiatives help raise awareness among both the general public and professionals about disability issues, in a spirit of inclusion and sharing.

The Pontmain mini-farm: a solidarity project serving well-being

On 9 February, LADAPT Ouest inaugurated the Pontmain mini-farm, a project made possible thanks to donations collected during the various editions of the Agricultural Show.

This animal-assisted mediation space has welcomed its first two young goats, Azalée and Anisa, and now offers the people supported by LADAPT a place conducive to calm, well-being and therapeutic activities.

The inauguration, attended by around fifty people, highlighted the expertise of the Pontmain ESAT through shared testimonials from employees and clients.

Several elected officials and institutional partners were present to acknowledge the inclusive impact of this initiative, including:

  • Olivier Richefou – President of the Mayenne Departmental Council,
  • Pauline Bodinier – Regional Health Agency (Pays de la Loire),
  • Guillaume Chevrollier – Senator for Mayenne.

The morning also gave our Soignon marketing teams the opportunity to showcase our products to attendees.

A meaningful partnership

The inauguration concluded with the presentation of a €5,000 cheque, corresponding to the proceeds from the solidarity quiz at the 2025 Agricultural Show.

This gesture symbolises the strength of a shared commitment, firmly rooted in solidarity and local responsibility.

We are proud to contribute, alongside LADAPT, to inclusive projects that improve the daily lives of people with disabilities. Thank you to all the teams involved in bringing this partnership to life and helping it grow.
